SciFi and Fantasy Art the Formations of Hephobia by Tom ´Beldarr´ Bell

The inhabitants of Hephobia have enchanted a portion of the vast formations on their world. The only known race to have harnessed the power to perform witchcraft. The legend says they only use the formations to punish the evil, but many good have known to venture there and never return. Hephobia has long since been ignored and it is understood that you don't go there alone or without mighty warriors. The formations turn anything to stone, but it leaves the soul trapped in awareness, to forever feel and see. The Hephobians then remove the trapped soul from the formations and decorate their cities in the belief the life force will protect them from invaders trying to steal their magic.

19 Dec 1999	Christy Roberts	Loading... Love the idea. Like Dell, I also noticed that she looks black. Nice to see something different (like the Shanooks). The matching wings and ears were a nice touch but I particularly like how her leg melds into the stone, and the right foot into her other leg. That was really well done! I'm amazed at how real those warts look. A very powerful piece. Oh, it looks like her elbow is sort of 'fin' shaped, that's cool, or is it part of the wing? Is this a large picture? It looks like you had to scan it in two pieces.

1 Jan 2002	Stan	Loading... The picture is great, only one bad thing the ribs, you shoudl show more of the lover ribs, it is not natural that they only show in the middle and not belivable, that is the only problem, everything else is great

I'd like to see the end of those fantastic wings, but you have them in other pictures, so I'll just look with my fan-haunted eyes there instead.
